Greater Vision is preparing for an exciting season of new music and performances. Their latest release, “Your Healing is on the Way,” is already popular among fans, but there’s more to come. Chris Allman, a key member of the group, is enthusiastic about what’s on the horizon for Greater Vision.

“Greater Vision has a lot of stuff coming up,” Allman shared. “We’ve got a brand new project we’ll be releasing at convention, so we’ve got some new music there, and I’m very excited about that.” The group’s commitment to creating fresh and meaningful music is evident, as Allman added, “We’re always excited to turn out new music that we’ve written and have even received from other writers.”

The group is also looking ahead to a special time of year—Christmas. Allman revealed plans for a festive collaboration, saying, “As a lot of people have already seen on social media, we are doing a Christmas tour with the Mylon Hayes Family, and of course, they have a tremendous project that they’ve been working on. They’ll be releasing that pretty soon, and then we’re gonna be doing music off of that along with the music that we did in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.”

This holiday season is shaping up to be a memorable one for fans of Greater Vision. The upcoming Family and Friends Tour will showcase both new and beloved Christmas music, and Allman expressed the group’s excitement about it. “We’re very excited about Christmas coming up and a brand new tour, the Family and Friends Tour.”

With new projects and a special tour in the works, Greater Vision continues to bring inspiring music to their audiences, staying true to their mission of uplifting and encouraging listeners through their songs.

Tim Griffin shares, “Angela and I have been on a year-long search for the perfect lead vocalist to join The Griffins. During a recent conversation with an industry friend, Brian’s name came up, and it struck a chord with us. We knew immediately that Brian was the right fit, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that our search would also introduce us to Theresa and Josh.”

Joining the team as the fourth vocalist is Theresa Bellamy from Kingsport, TN. With her extensive background in vocal performance, Theresa is the owner and operator of “Theresa’s Studio for Vocal Performance.” Her expertise in mentoring budding artists and refining vocal techniques promises to elevate The Griffins’ sound and captivate their audiences.

The Lore Family’s “God Said You’re Gonna Make It” reminds us He will follow through

SPECIAL: CROSSROADS RECORDS

Arden, North Carolina (April 19, 2024) — The Lore Family’s “Jesus Does” may just be starting to make its way up the Southern Gospel charts, but the Horizon Records recording artist is dishing up more new music — and this time, it’s aimed directly at making new fans for the Ohio-based musical ministry. Written in the 1990s, “God Said You’re Gonna Make It” has been popular with congregations and choirs for years, yet recordings of the song are few and far between, and it has never been released as a single until now.

Though Fayth Lore Whisnant takes a supporting role on this song — father Darren and mother Sandy have the lead vocals on the song’s two inspirational verses — she puts her finger on the essence of “God Said You’re Gonna Make It,” noting that “doubt is something that every Believer has dealt with in their life. In fact, doubt is what Satan used in The Garden of Eden to convince Eve to take the bite of the forbidden fruit. He asked Eve:  ‘Hath God said?’

“Since Eden, Satan has continued to ask us that same question …’Has God really said’;  ‘Can you truly take God at His word?’ The disciples faced faith-shaking doubt on the raging sea. The circumstances around them quickly made them forget that Jesus Christ had already told them that they were going to be going to the other side. (Mark 4:35)”

With its classic syncopation, prominent organ and guitar, “God Said You’re Gonna Make It” is a familiar-sounding, comfortingly confident affirmation of the truth revealed to believers in the story of Jesus in the storm:

Don’t worry over thunder, because you’re not going under
God said you’re gonna make it, you’re gonna make it for the Master’s on board

“The song, ‘God Said You’re Gonna Make It’ has encouraged our hearts greatly,” Fayth testifies. “It’s a reminder that God WILL do what He has promised to do in His Word. Oftentimes, we are guilty of letting our emotions and fear control our actions. This song encourages every Christian to be of good cheer. If God said you’re gonna make it, then you’re gonna make it, because He is on board!”Listen to “God Said You’re Gonna Make It” on Texas Gospel Canada!

Heaven’s Mountain Band Announces Retirement

SPECIAL FAMILY MUSIC BLUEGRASS

Nashville, TN (April 26, 2023) The multi-award-winning bluegrass gospel band, Heaven’s Mountain Band, has announced their retirement after 37 years of ministry. This comes after the unexpected passing of beloved group matriarch, Deborah Johnson.

Roger Johnson states, “Rodney and I have prayed and we feel it is time to retire the group. I will continue writing music as long as the Lord gives me songs to write! We’d like to thank everyone for the years on the road, for buying our music, and praying for us. Please continue to lift us up in prayer. This retirement is effective immediately.”

Heaven’s Moutain Band has established themselves as one of the top groups in bluegrass gospel today! Career highlights include 10 consecutive Singing News #1 songs, multi-Diamond Award winner and Singing News Fan Award nominee. They were blessed to perform at some of the most prestigious venues, such as Dollywood, Hominy Valley and Shadow Valley, but their heart was ministering in local churches across America.

Les Butler, FMG label owner and HMB fan states, “I personally believe the impact that HMB had on fans of REAL traditional Bluegrass Gospel Music will resonate for generations to come. The comments we’ve gotten at the office, as well as in person over the years, from music buyers and church members have been overwhelming. HMB was not your normal bluegrass gospel band. They were much more and much deeper than that. The retirement of the Primitive QT and HMB is leaving a cavernous hole; one that I’m not sure will ever be filled.”

Butler continues, “On a personal level, I simply don’t have the words for what the Johnson family has meant to me, my family, and FMG. My, how we will miss being with Debbie, Roger, Rodney Johnson, and all of HMB! This is truly a sad day for me.”
