TEXAS GOSPEL VOLUNTEER

God knows every person perfectly, yet people do not know him in the same way. He wants them to change that, and discovering who he is takes a lifetime.

Believers know him as Jehovah, the God of the Bible, and they learn who he is through his Son, Jesus Christ. Even so, God has countless facets, wonderful things to find out about him and many avenues to understanding him.

The desire makes sense to anyone who has loved another person. Love wants to know the beloved and to be known in return, to reach the inside of a person and feel what that person feels. God longs for that same closeness, and he wants his children to know him.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
