There is nothing in all of creation that possesses the power of the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Hymn Nothing but the Blood of Jesus asks, “What can wash away my sin? The answer is not effort. It’s not our resolve or some religious ceremony. Nothing, and that word deserves to be held and examined, nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make a person whole again? The same answer applies.

Think about a man whose life has unravelled completely, whose choices leave him with guilt and consequence. The blood of Jesus Christ can reach that man exactly where he is and cleanse him of every sin without qualification or exception.

A God of perfect justice would not allow injustice. But God, a God of mercy, made a way for justice to be satisfied through redemption paid for through the blood of Jesus. All one need do is accept his gift.

but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
