Vandals spray painted “Satanic symbols” and derogatory comments about Billy Graham on at least two church buildings in Greenville County, South Carolina over the weekend.  A report from WYFF says the vandals spray painted messages including, “To hell with Billy Graham. We venerate Satan.”  Rev. Billy Graham passed away last week.

At least three other churches in the same area have had vandalism since Jan. 27, according to a report from WSPA TV 7.  The vandals have managed to avoid surveillance cameras.  Evidence was gathered at one location, but details have not been released.

Officials in Greenville County say it is believed the damage was done sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.  A sheriff’s office spokesperson said as of Monday there are no suspects in the case.  Officials have not determined a motivation.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
