Southern Gospel fans will see a familiar face on stage with Four Corners Quartet starting in January 2027, as veteran vocalist Bob Sellers steps in as the group’s new lead singer.
Sellers brings decades of quartet experience to the role. He spent seven years singing lead for the Kingsmen Quartet. He’s appearing on numerous recordings and performing across the country. Before that, he spent eight years with the Capstone Quartet, first as lead singer and eventually as the group’s owner.
In 2018, Sellers stepped out to launch a solo ministry. That full-time solo work will continue even as he takes on the new role with Four Corners, with Sellers joining the group for select dates throughout the year.
Four Corners Quartet owner and manager Andrew Eckman said the arrangement works well for both sides. As a part-time group singing roughly 40 to 50 dates a year, he said, the schedule gives Sellers room to be part of the ministry without stepping away from his solo career.
Eckman also took time to recognize Andrew Goldman of Peach Goldman, who filled in on lead vocals during the group’s search for a permanent replacement. Eckman called Goldman’s help during the transition a blessing to the ministry and said the group is grateful for his friendship.
Sellers, who lives in Carrollton, Alabama, is set to make his first appearance with Four Corners Quartet in January 2027.
