Filter Negative Thoughts with Faith

FLOYD ROGERS

Every day, our minds are filled with thoughts. Some are good, others are harmful. Imagine having a filter in your mind — like a grid — that every thought must pass through. This mental filter is shaped by God’s Word. It helps us decide what to accept and what to reject.

Because of our position as believers and the promise of God’s guidance, we’re never left alone in these choices. The Holy Spirit, living within us, helps us see clearly. The moment a thought arrives, the Holy Spirit makes it plain whether it’s right or wrong. It’s like an inner alarm that warns us when something doesn’t match who we are in Christ.

God designed us this way, giving us both the wisdom and the authority to make good decisions. This isn’t about guessing or hoping for the best — it’s about relying on Scripture and the Spirit’s presence.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trusting God’s Timing in Your Life Journey

FLOYD ROGERS

God has designed a unique purpose and plan for each of our lives. He is always doing something meaningful, even when we don’t fully understand it. Since He created us with a clear purpose, we should trust that He also has a perfect schedule for how and when things should happen. We can infer from God’s word that he wants us to set aside our own plans, follow His ways, and watch how He moves in our lives.

It’s surprising how some people live as if God isn’t working around them. No matter what situations we face, His goodness never changes. He remains kind and faithful to each one of us. Because God knows everything, He understands the best path for us, the perfect moment for every event, and the right timing for every step we take.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Finding Peace Through Trust in God

FLOYD ROGERS

Life often brings situations we find hard to understand. Sometimes, painful or disappointing moments make us wonder why God didn’t stop them. It’s natural to feel that way, but we must remember that God has a purpose and a plan for each person’s life. Even when events seem difficult or unfair, God allows them for reasons we may not see right now.

He knows everything — past, present, and future — and His love never fails, no matter what we face. The challenge for many people is letting go of control. It can be tempting to try and manage every part of life on our own. But true peace comes when we trust God’s wisdom, love, and perfect timing.

Instead of forcing our own plans, we are called to surrender and allow God to lead. His way brings lasting hope and guidance. God is always right on time, and His care for us never wavers.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
