The Inspirations bring classic sound to new single, “Come To The Well”

SPECIAL CROSSROADS RECORDS

Arden, North Carolina (November 17, 2023) — When the newest lineup of Horizon Records’ The Inspirations released their first studio album together last spring, lead singer Roland Kesterson was quick to note that “we don’t do what everyone else does. We have tried to pioneer a new way by paying tribute to our old way.” In the case of A Pioneer Legacy, that meant a preponderance of old favorites, as the latest version of the Southern Gospel stalwarts acknowledged the tradition in which they were taking their place. That salute continued with this April’s Ageless Treasures and the powerful September release, The Inspirations Reunion LIVE.

Now the quartet — which just took home honors from the Singing News Fan Awards for A Pioneer Legacy (Favorite Album), tenor Isaac Moore (Favorite Young Artist) and Favorite Artist â€” face the future with a confidence born of solid faith and an abundance of talent, as they release “Come To The Well,” the first single from their forthcoming, all new 2024 album, The Legacy Continues. Infusing the classic sound of The Inspirations as it has been refined for nearly 60 years with the youthful spirit and energy of KestersonMooreWyatt Austin (bass, and the recipient of the Singing News’ Favorite Young Artist award in 2022) and Luke Vaught (baritone), “Come To The Well” more than fulfills the promise of the album’s title.

“We are always looking for great songs,” notes Kesterson, “And we love to go back to writers who have written great songs for the group in the past. Ronnie Hinson is one of those writers, having written the group’s mega-hit, ‘God Is Still On The Throne’ and others. When Ronnie brought us this song, we were all very excited. Wyatt told Ronnie he wanted a song that featured him, much like the song we sing, ‘He Made A Way’ â€” and Bro. Hinson delivered!

“The song tells about the woman who came to the well and met the Master who can give living water so that we never thirst again. The gospel is presented perfectly, we feel, in this brand new song that has that same old sound that we love so much. We hope you enjoy ‘Come To The Well’!”

StowTown Records Celebrates Christmaswith Release of Not So Silent Nightby 3 Heath Brothers

SPECIAL STOWTOWN RECORDS

Nashville, TN (November 14, 2023) â€“ In a true representation of the joy of Christmas, Not So Silent Night by 3 Heath Brothers is a perfect album to kick off the Christmas season. StowTown Records makes this album available at all digital music outlets this Friday, November 17, via Provident/Sony Distribution.

Brothers Nicholas, Christian and Clayton Heath partnered with acclaimed producer and arranger David T. Clydesdale for this ten song album which includes familiar carols, covers of popular Christmas tunes and an original song as well. Making this project extra special is the inclusion of orchestral arrangements recorded with The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. “Since we began singing we’ve dreamed about doing a Christmas record,” shares Nicholas Heath, “but honestly we had no idea what a dream come true this project would be. David T. Clydesdale was a name I had seen all over the place: Sandi Patty, Disney and most of the church choir music – David has worked with so many artists in some form. For him to have such a prominent influence on this project is still surreal to me. And working with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra was just amazing. What a huge sound and what an awesome experience!”

Everyone will enjoy singing along with familiar carols such as â€śO Come All Ye Faithful” and â€śI’ll Be Home For Christmas,” both of which include lush orchestrations to complement the vocal arrangements. Popular Christmas tunes include â€śWhat God Wants For Christmas,” made popular by country music singer Darius Rucker, and â€śMary Did You Know.” But the 3 Heath Brothers shine brightest on the song they wrote, the title cut, â€śNot So Silent Night.” The energy and fun for which they are known is perfectly captured in this song celebrating the joy, love and reason for our Christmas celebrations.

“When I first saw the 3 Heath Brothers in person I was filled with joy and hope,” reflects StowTown Records co-founder Ernie Haase. “Now, with their first StowTown release, Not So Silent Night, they are bringing that same creative energy to the greatest story of all time: God with us! All I can say is buckle up! This is the pure joy unleashed!” The 3 Heath Brothers are just as excited for this new partnership. “To us, StowTown Records has always been the gold standard when it comes to Gospel music. Their insight, attention to detail and their track record with taking artists to the next level has always impressed us. For us to be working with them is very exciting!”

Not So Silent Night is the perfect addition to your Christmas music library and playlist.

Jordan LeFevre recovering

SPECIAL DAYWIND RECORDS

Jordan LeFevre of the Lefevres was seriously injured early this month.. He serves as a firefighter when he’s not singing Gospel music, and had a serious fall during training.

“Every night, it seems like every night is out of extreme amounts of pain and very restless. And I guess that’s to be expected. We’ve had a lot of people that have said that they had to deal with this and it’s just a painful process,” said Mike LeFevre of Jordan’s recovery.

Mike told us how the accident happened.

“It was a maze and the floor drops out and when Jordan came down, he missed the pad, his knee (hit) the concrete, which drove his femur through his pelvis area and shattered it in the back. So he’s going to be out, off of his leg. He won’t be able to put any pressure on his leg for the next two months,” said Mike.

Some photos and messages of Jordan’s recovery can be found on the group’s Facebook page.

Jordan LeFevre of The LeFevre Quartet was injured this past Wednesday while doing a training exercise on his full-time job as a firefighter. This fall broke the joint between his hip and leg. Jordan has been in significant pain as a result of the injury. Doctors were finally able to do surgery on Friday. The procedure took about 4 hours.

While doctors said the surgery was a success, they have also cautioned the family that Jordan will be facing an extended recovery. It is expected that he will not be able to bear weight on his right hip and leg for 2 to 3 months.

As a result of this situation The LeFevre Quartet cancelled their schedule for this past weekend. Monitor their social media feed for updates on upcoming shows.

Let’s continue to lift Jordan LeFevre up in our prayers as he begins his recovery. Jordan is featured on The LeFevre Quartet’s current hit. Here’s “Nobody Like Jesus.”
