Confusion About Christ’s Return

AMY TURNER

Many people today are troubled by confusing messages about the return of Jesus Christ. Some claim to have new prophecies or special insight, causing fear and uncertainty among believers. But the Bible warns us not to be easily shaken by these things.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Paul reminds the church not to be alarmed by false reports saying the day of the Lord has already happened. He urges believers to stay calm and not be fooled by anyone, whether it’s through strange teachings, rumours, or letters pretending to be from church leaders.

It’s important for Christians to hold tightly to what the Bible truly teaches about Christ’s return. God’s promises in Scripture remain steady and trustworthy. Instead of chasing after every new voice claiming to know the future, we should focus on the timeless words of God.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

Matthew 24:35
